You've Developed the Eye. Now Sell What You Restore.

The marketplace is the natural next step for Find. Restore. Love. members who are restoring pieces properly and want to sell them to an audience that genuinely appreciates quality vintage furniture.

This isn't a general marketplace. It's a curated platform where every listing is approved, every piece meets a standard, and every buyer already trusts what they're looking at.

What We Accept...And What We Don't!

  • Basic vs Pro — which is right for you?

Learn more about our Find.Restore.Love Communtity here.

    Basic at $19/month
is for members restoring and selling occasionally - up to 5 active listings, 15% commission.

  • The Photo Standard

Unlike consignment — you photograph your own pieces. This is the single most important thing you can do to sell successfully.

    Required — 4 photos minimum:

✔ Full piece from the front — natural light, clean background, nothing else in frame.

✔ Full piece from the side or three-quarter angle.

✔ Top surface close-up — timber grain, condition, patina.

✔ Any damage or wear honestly documented.

    Photo rules:

✔ Natural light — outdoors in the shade or near a large window.

✔ Clean background — white wall, neutral floor, outside on gravel.

✔ Fill the frame — the piece should take up most of the photo.

✔ Shoot at an angle, slightly above — shows depth and form.

✔ Show the timber honestly — no heavy filters.

    Never do this:

✖ Dark rooms or artificial lighting
✖ Cluttered backgrounds with other furniture or personal items visible
✖ Heavy filters that change the timber colour
✖ Blurry or out of focus shots
✖ Only one photo — always send at least four.

  • Pricing Your Piece

We'll give you a pricing recommendation as part of the approval process and teach you in the community. Use it. Our buyers are knowledgeable - an overpriced piece will sit. A well-priced piece sells in the first Thursday drop.

    Rough guide by type:

Small side table or plant stand: $125–$225.

Mid-size chest of drawers or dresser: $295–$495.

    Solid bookcase: $350–$695.

    Custom or handmade pieces: $375–$800+.

    Art Deco statement pieces: $395–$795.

These are guides not rules. We'll give you a specific recommendation for your specific piece.

  • Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be a paying member to sell?

Yes - active Find. Restore. Love. Premium membership ($37/month) is required plus a vendor subscription ($19 or $37/month). This ensures our vendors understand and maintain our standard.

    Can I list pieces I haven't restored?
Only if the piece meets our quality standard as-is. We assess every listing before it goes live. Pieces that need restoration should be restored before listing - that's the whole point of the community.

    How does delivery work?
You arrange delivery directly with the buyer. Be clear in your listing about whether you offer local pickup, NZ wide courier, or both. Always use a tracked courier for valuable pieces. Or you can use our delivery service, fees to TBC.

  • Frequently Asked Questions

What if my piece doesn't sell in 8 weeks?
Your listing expires automatically. You can relist at the same price or adjust and relist. No fee to relist - just resubmit for approval.

Can I sell multiple pieces at once?
Yes - Basic allows up to 5 active listings, Pro is unlimited. Submit each piece separately for assessment.

What happens if a buyer has a problem?
All pieces are sold as seen. Your listing description and photos are your responsibility - be honest and thorough. Disputes go to us first as platform operator.

I'm not a community member yet. Can I still sell?
Not through the community vendor programme. But you can submit a piece for Curated Consignment - no membership required. Or join Find. Restore. Love. free today and upgrade to Premium when you're ready to sell.
