About Plots & Pickles

Plots & Pickles started in 2023 — born from the loss of a dear friend. His passing left me with questions about the fragility of life and how little time we actually have to do the things that matter.

After 13 years in business, it was time to build something real. What started as a passion, became a side hustle, became my full time life — if you can really call it that.

Over the first two years we experimented with everything vintage, eventually landing where we were always meant to be — curating quality vintage furniture. Solid timber. Honest patina. Real craftsmanship. Pieces that were made to last and deserve a second life.

We now curate weekly collections for furniture lovers across New Zealand, dropping new pieces every Thursday at 7pm.

Four rules guide everything we do: Nothing new. Solid wood. Practical. Affordable.

But Plots & Pickles has grown into something bigger than a furniture store. I gave up agency life to do this — and I help people see what everyone else walks past, in a piece and in themselves.
