We are looking for lovely vintage furniture to re-home to our 1000s of customers and we can make it easy for you by doing all the heavy lifting.
Let's start with what WE ARE looking for:
✅ Solid wood - Oak, Mahogany, Rimu, Kauri etc
✅ Practical pieces - Bookcases, drawers, dressers, tables, chairs, dining tables, art
✅ In good condition - If it is broken or needs renovating we may be able to help
✅ Located in Auckland or Hamilton only at this stage.
We are NOT looking for:
❌ Chipboard or pine furniture
❌ Nothing new
❌ Beds
❌ Very dark furniture
❌ Dolls or teddy bears
❌ Brass, silver, cutlery or crockery
How does the payment work:
1. $150 pick up and admin fee per van load - paid on pickup
2. The final sales price minus 15% GST, 25% commission, 60% remaining to you*
3. Delivery fees to end customer are charged by us and retained by us
3. Payment by bank transfer upon us receiving cleared funds.
*If the end customer pays with Afterpay there are some additional fees that will be taken from the sale.
How does it work?
1. Email me or text Grant on 021 404343 - WITH PHOTOS. grant@plotsandpickles.com
2. Agree on items we will take and the sales prices
3. Agree time and date to pick up
4. We market on your behalf to our customer base and in our shop
5. Items can be in our possession for a maximum of 90 days. If they are not sold we will work with you to agree next steps.
We will not visit your place adhoc - you must send photos for us to assess before we can advise how we can help.
Items that are in need of renovation will be treated differently. If you simply want them gone and are right for us we may be able to take them. Due to the work required we would require them to be donated or for an agreed fee that we purchase them for.
Please do not be offended if we say no to your items. We know our customers and we know what they like.
Understand that we deal with a lot of items that have an emotional value to you, that is more than the next customer will have. Consider what it is worth versus what you think it is worth. We will advise openly what we want to sell for based on our experience.
