Pickles The Bear

Once Upon A Workshop.

Somewhere between the sandpaper and the sawdust, a very small bear decided he was going to live in the workshop forever. Nobody built him — he just turned up one morning in his flat cap, picked up a hammer like he'd always known how, and got to work.

  • Sawdust in his fur

He's never once come home clean. He considers this a personal achievement.

  • Never met a drawer he couldn't fix

Wobbly, stuck, missing a handle — give him five minutes and a bit of glue.

  • Tea breaks, mandatory

Every hour, on the hour. Non-negotiable, even mid-repair.

  • Terrible at hide and seek

He's always under the workbench. Every single time.

For the kids who want to get their hands dirty too

Pickles isn't just a mascot. He's a stand-in for every kid who's ever wanted to hold the sander, hammer the nail, or ask why a piece of furniture is built the way it is. Plots & Pickles has always been about giving old things a second life — Pickles is how we bring the little ones along for it.

Why he's here

Thirteen years running an agency, a few more coaching leadership — and somewhere in there I picked up a sander instead of a laptop. Pickles is what happens when you let a workshop raise a bear: a little scruffy, always curious, and never quite finished with the thing he's working on. Feels about right.
